CHILDREN’S MINISTRY IN ANCOPEN
MISSION: To raise a new generation of soldiers for Christ. Children of Power, bold enough to stand for the Lord. Our firm belief is that the Children’s Ministry constitutes the strong Pillar on which the survival of any Church rests. To this end, we are doing everything possible under the Leading of the Holy Spirit to build a virile and resourceful Sunday School Ministry. We are combining spiritual activities with Physical to engage the attention and shape the intension and passion of our young people. Our Children’s teachers are both evangelists and teachers.
The Sunday School operations are as follows:
Sunday morning classes hold at 7:15am and 9:15am services. Lessons are taught according to the Anglican Church Sunday School Manual.
Saturday Bible Club between 3pm and 5pm. A theme is followed each year and lessons and activities are drawn up from the Bible. Activities include drama presentations, choreography dancing, singing and craft work.
Teenage Victory Club holds from 4 – 6pm on Saturdays.
Teenagers come together to study the Bible; have talks on topics affecting a Christian teenager.
They also have a football club, and practice every Saturday when in season.
Movie nights, speakers’ series and informational talks are also some of the things they do.
CLASSES: Our Sunday morning classes are divided into the following age groups.
Ages 2 – 4, Ages 5 -6, Ages 7- 9, Ages 10- 12, Teenage Class.
