Childrens’ Ministry

The Anglican Children’s Ministry Directorate (Diocese of Lagos) was one of the Directorates established by the late Primate and erstwhile Bishop of Lagos, The Most Revd Abiodun Adetiloye DD. in the eighties.

At Inauguration the Directorate was then known as the Directorate of the Sunday schools with The late Ven. O. A. Kuforiji as it’s first Director. At retirement, he handed over to The Ven. Odubena who was its director until 2019 when the Revd Canon Adekunle Ajado, later Venerable was appointed its third director.

The Sunday school now ACM has as its responsibility to cater for the spiritual needs of the children in the Diocese. Programmes like Children’s camp, talent hunt, Bible Quiz, Singing Competition, Prayer retreats Sunday school day, variety day and so on are organized annually to cater for the spiritual needs of the children.
